A meetup built for practitioners

The Berlin SEO & Content Club — BSCC to regulars — started in 2023 as a small room of SEOs who were tired of conference-grade generalities.
Eleven editions later the format has barely changed: a handful of practitioners walk through something they actually built, what broke, and what the numbers looked like afterwards. Then the talks stop and the useful part starts.
It is organised by Ciara Serrano and Giuseppe Colucci and hosted by Storylake, the GEO and AI-search agency that grew out of the same room. Each edition is free, in English, and capped at a size where you can still hear the person next to you.

Why people keep
coming back

Real work, not case-study theatre — Speakers show the test, the failure and the dashboard. If a tactic did not work, they say so.
The room is the point — SEO leads, content strategists, freelancers and in-house teams from some of Berlin’s biggest marketing organisations. Ninety minutes of talks, two hours of talking.
Ahead of the conference circuit — Half the room is already rebuilding for AI search and LLM visibility. You will hear how before it becomes a keynote track.
Nobody pitches you — Sponsors host the space and pour the drinks. They do not get a slide.

Past Editions

Eleven editions of talks, arguments and follow-up coffees. Each recap has the slides, the speakers and the one thing worth remembering.

Speak, sponsor
or host an edition

Speak

Got a test, a migration or a failure worth twenty minutes? We prioritise people showing their own work over people presenting their product.

Sponsor

Drinks, food and the occasional venue. Sponsors are credited on the page and thanked from the front of the room, and that is where it ends.

Host

Got an office in Berlin that fits [60–80] people on a weekday evening? We bring the audience.

Join the club

One email a month: what we learned at the last edition, SEO and AI-search reading worth your time, curated Berlin job openings, and tickets before they go public.

FAQ

Is it free?
Yes. Every edition is free to attend. Registration is required because venues have a headcount.
Do I need to work in SEO?
No. Roughly half the room is content, PR, product marketing or founders. If you care how people find things, you will follow it.
Where in Berlin is it?
The venue changes each edition because a different company hosts each time. Past editions have run at WeWork Warschauer Platz and other offices around Friedrichshain and Mitte. The address is always in the registration confirmation.
How often do you run?
Roughly every two to three months, usually on a weekday evening.
Is it a junior or senior crowd?
Mixed, leaning senior. Speakers are practitioners, so talks assume you know what a canonical tag is.
Can I speak at a future edition?
Yes, and we would rather hear from someone who has never spoken before than from a returning vendor. Pitch a talk.
Is this a Storylake sales event?
No. Storylake organises and pays for it. Nobody from the agency pitches you, and there is no follow-up sequence for attending.
I registered but cannot make it?
Cancel your ticket so someone on the waitlist gets the seat.

The team behind
the club

Storylake is a GEO and AI-search agency in Berlin. We help brands become the source ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity cite — through Reddit marketing, EEAT expert content and digital PR. We run the club because half of what we know came out of arguments in that room, and because the work is more interesting when the people doing it are talking to each other.
